“Group 5” is the largest group of VentureLab participants so far, to receive their alumni-pins and have their stories collected in “VentureLab Twente Entrepreneurs stories”. (2011, volume 3). In a well-attended ceremony each personal coach said a few words to his/her graduate(s).

Only one participant can win the VentureLab Twente Growth Award. Of group 5 it is Mark De Vries of EuroDev. The Growth Award is awarded to companies with a proven potential for high growth. The previous winners were: Joska Broekmaat of SolMateS (group 4), Harry Roewen of IACS (group 3), Maria Lijding of SmartSignsSolutions (group 2) and Rob Wermenbol of 3dmodelfactory (group 1). The winner of the Growth Award receives the High Growth insignia plus one year of VentureLab Twente alumni-membership (worth 500 euro) for free.
