VentureLab Twente invites you to its monthly informal buffet dinner and VLT VentureClass.
Speaker: Clemens van Blitterswijk
Professor dr. Clemens A. van Blitterswijk talks about “Entrepreneurism in Life Sciences”.
Van Blitterswijk is presently the scientific director of the University of Twente MIRA Institute.
He has co-founded multiple biomedical companies and was a.o. CEO of IsoTis.
In total he raised over 140 Million Euros in funding through equity and/or grants.

Start new group
February 17 and 18, 2010, a new group will start a full year of the Business Development Programme!
Applying for the programme is simple:

- The second step is filling out another form. In this form we ask you some questions about your background and your plans for the future.
Filling out the second form should take place within 5 working days after filling out the application form. - The final step to complete the application is an intake meeting with our staff. We contact you normally within 3 working days after you submitted the second form.

VentureLab Twente invites you to its monthly informal buffet dinner and VLT VentureClass. This VentureClass is a special one, because it’s combined with the certification ceremony of the second group of participants and the presentation of “VentureLab Twente Entrepreneurs 2010 volume 2″. In the form below you can let us know if you’ll join the ceremony as well.

8.00 pm VLT VentureClass:
“Global Innovation Networks and Their Implications for Entrepreneurship”

Speaker: Professor Shaker A. Zahra is the Department Chair, Robert E. Buuck Chair of Entrepreneurship and Professor of Strategy & Organization in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where he is also the Academic Director of the Gary S. Holmes Entrepreneurship Center. Professor Zahra has been a visiting or guest professor at several universities in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has also held the 3TU Chair in International Entrepreneurship at Nikos (the Dutch Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship) at the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
Professor Zahra’s research focuses on: * entrepreneurship and national policy, especially in global technology-based industries and companies; * international entrepreneurship; * corporate entrepreneurship and capability development. His research has appeared worldwide in leading journals. Professor Zahra has received several awards for his excellent service and teaching, including the Best teacher in the MBA and the Mentor Award from the Entrepreneurship Division, the Academy of Management.
