The best stories about entrepreneurship are told by entrepreneurs themselves. With that idea in mind, VentureLab Twente published the first edition of the “VentureLab Twente Entrepreneurs”. The President of the Executive Board of the University of Twente, Anne Flierman, did receive the first exemplar from Prof. dr Aard Groen. The stories also provide an understanding of VentureLab Twente’s role in realizing entrepreneurial ambitions. Below you can download the booklet in PDF format. As part of the VentureLab Twente certification ceremony, Rob Wermenbol received the VentureLab Twente High-Growth Award and Dennis Doubovski the VentureLab Twente Community Award. Wermenbol receives honours for the progress and growth his venture Amitek Modelfactory made during last year. Doubovski receives honours for stimulating interaction among VentureLab Twente entrepreneurs by founding the VentureLab Twente Bussiness Club.

The first group of sixteen entrepreneurs in VentureLab Twente received their participation certificates. In the past year, these entrepreneurs were actively coached and trained. They have also been introduced into networks of customers, suppliers, and financiers. Now having a sound strategy for their business’ start-up or growth, they are ready to take off to the next level of expansion.

During the summertime (July – August) VentureLab Twente offers an excellent opportunity to invest in your skills and your business concept. Whether you are considering to start your own company, want to explore the market potential of your technology, or want to give your company that extra boost for growth, the VentureLab Twente entrepreneurship summerschool offers you an excellent opportunity to invest in your entrepreneurial and business potential. Today from 17.30-18.30 the first groep of VentureLab Twente entrepreneurs get their participation certificate. The ceremony is public and takes place in Enschede, in our building “the Corridor”, (Hengelosestraat 535-527) , room 58. Two entrepreneurs will also receive special awards: the community award and the high growth award. Finally there will be the book presentation of the entrepreneurs’ portraits.
